TOWN OF WADESBORO
The Town of Wadesboro has been awarded funding from the North Carolina Department of Commerce to implement streetscape improvements. The Town intends to select and contract with a qualified North Carolina licensed engineering firm to provide professional engineering, design, bidding, and construction administration services for the Wade Street Streetscape Improvement Project. The total project budget is $909,979.00, consisting of an $847,605.00 Rural Downtown Economic Development Grant awarded by the North Carolina Department of Commerce, the required 5% local match and additional Town funds. The estimated construction and related project budget is approximately $867,599.00, including a $73,227.00 construction contingency and $62,100.00 for technical services, including surveying, engineering design, procurement assistance, and construction inspections. This project is being re-advertised due to an insufficient number of proposals received during the initial solicitation. All qualified
